TMJ

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Disorders are a broad category of muscle and joint problems that can cause pain in the head and neck, not just the jaw.  Injury, disease, clenching of the teeth, tightening of the muscles, and stress can result in painful "TMJ" symptoms

SYMPTOMS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Jaw Pain

  • Jaw Clicking

  • Ear Pain/Fullness

  • Ringing or Buzzing in the Ears

  • Facial Pain

  • Neck Pain

  • Headaches

  • Grinding/Clenching of the Teeth

  • Uncomfortable Bite

Treatment must be directed toward specifically diagnosed causes of the pain. A general diagnosis of "TMJ" is not adequate.

At “TMJ Solutions” we determine specific medical diagnoses and target the least amount of treatment-to help you get your life back. Most cases are treated without prescription medication or surgery. In those cases when medication or surgery is indicated, we will coordinate with your prescribing doctor or surgeon.
